Set in postwar Vienna in the 1950's the book relates the story of the exiles returning 15 years after they had been forced to leave their beloved Vienna.  It is so amazing and their stories are captivating and powerful and a great addition to this era, even though this is fiction.

It is so beautifully written and I think how fortunate we are that her grandson inherited the original typescript; I've studied WWII and especially postwar Berlin and Vienna.  I read this book in one sitting on a Sunday afternoon, as I couldn't put it down.  I wish I could have met the author and I won't forget this book for along long time and you won't either."
